Barahunni Astia is the senior associate of NAWASENA Counsellors at Law.

 

She started her career at a notable corporate law firm in Jakarta. Before joining NAWASENA Counsellors at Law, she was a corporate secretary head at one of Indonesia’s largest finance companies, FIFGROUP where she spent 15 years of her career.

 

 

Her experience working at FIFGROUP has gained her valuable experience, exposure and opportunity to become an expert in legal and corporate governance as well as corporate secretarial functions. During her tenure at FIFGROUP, she had proven track record in safeguarding FIFGROUP to comply with legal and regulatory requirements while also, facilitating the needs of the company, shareholders, and other stakeholders including regulators.

 

 

She has in depth understanding of financial services and capital market laws and regulations. She is also familiar with legal research, drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts. Her ability to deliver optimal legal and governance solutions has become valuable assets for NAWASENA Counsellors at Law.

 

 

She holds her Bachelor of Law (S.H.) from Padjadjaran University with cum laude predicate. She also holds Magister of Notary (M.Kn) from University of Indonesia.

 

 

She was one of committee member of Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association.
